About Us: Axis is a small manufacturing business that specializes in Cummins R28 and Hemi Conversions Kits. We supply turn key drivetrain kits for shops and end users to install in there garage. While also offer full Turn Key install for Defenders and Jeeps.
We are looking to expand our team, and need someone to help with building our wiring harnesses for our turn key install kits. Experience is preferred, but not required. Our wiring area is equipped with a Schleuniger Multistrip 9480 to Cut, and Strip wires. Wiring Twisting machine for our CAN network wires, Multiple different kinds of crimpers, Laser Etcher to Mark all Connectors, 1:1 harness boards, and more.
Job Responsibility:
- Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and final assemblies
- Read diagrams and assembly drawings to accurately build product to specification
- Document processes and maintain defect and repair records
- Use the Laser Etcher to mark all components
- Maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to accurately and effectively use all tools required for prescribed work to include measuring tools
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to interpret various forms of assembly documentation
- Must be able to lift 20-40lb
- Must have keen attention to detail and quality
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, sit stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, capable of multitasking
- Must be ok with working around high dollar vehicles, where attention to detail is key
- Must be dog friendly, We have a chocolate lab as a shop dog
